Tatanka hails from Chinle, Arizona, and proudly represents the Navajo, Oglala Lakota, Yankton Dakota, and Omaha Nations. On the big screen, he’s been featured in Martin Scorsese’s Oscar-nominated “Killers of the Flower Moon” (now streaming on AppleTV+) and Kevin Costner’s epic western “Horizon.” You can also catch him in “Opus” on HBO, the Netflix series “Ransom Canyon,” and soon in the new Yellowstone spinoff Y: Marshals, premiering March 1st on CBS and Paramount Plus.
Off-screen, Tatanka brings the good medicine of laughter to audiences of all ages. As one of the busiest touring Native comedians today, he was recently featured on the PBS special “Roots of Comedy” alongside Jesus Trejo and was named Entertainer of the Year by the National Indian Gaming Association. He is proud to perform as an alcohol- and drug-free, sober entertainer.
