Notice to Piikani Nation
The Piikani Child and Family Services (CFS) Prevention Program, Koko’nnooni “Our Home,” is dedicated to fostering the development and well-being of Piikani children, youth, and families within our community. Our primary goal is to empower families to remain united by connecting them with essential supports and services.
Due to the significant increase in demand for our support services, please be aware that you may experience longer wait times for service delivery. Our utmost priority is to assist children and families who are in need or at risk of entering the Child Protection system. We encourage families to utilize their natural support systems and readily available resources during times of crisis. Your patience and understanding as we continue to adapt and improve our services to support families at risk is greatly appreciated.
This will also serve as notice to the Piikani community that changes to the Prevention Program services and support delivery will begin in October 2025.
PCFS Prevention will be closed from September 2 to 5, 2025. Please reach out to other resources and supports if needed while we are away!
