Piikani Child and Family Services is pleased to announce the launch of a new Food Bank initiative, as directed by the Piikani Nation leadership. This vital service will be open and available to all Piikani Community members who require food assistance. Our goal is to provide food support to individuals and families within our community.
As we work towards the full operation of the Food Bank this fall, we will also be posting job opportunities for this significant community initiative in the coming weeks. We appreciate your patience and understanding during this preparatory phase.
In the meantime, the Piikani Child and Family Services – Koko’nnooni (Prevention/Outreach) department will continue to distribute free ‘good food bags and meat packages,’ thanks to the generous donations of meat from the Piikani Lands Department. We are actively working to ensure the Food Bank is fully operational this fall, and we are eager to provide Piikani members with food for their loved ones.
